Some of you may recall that I asked you to save the date for the Student Debt Forgiveness Workshop in my President’s Message in September as well mentioning it at the October Membership Meeting. While we had wanted to promote the workshop more, we did not get around to that but John Tucker will be in A-143 today at Noon today to give us an informal overview of the workshop. We will plan to have a bigger (inviting ES and PMA) and more promoted workshop in January too. For those of you that have been waiting a while for this, please join us today!

Student Debt Forgiveness Workshop – October 16
John Tucker will be hosting a Student Debt Forgiveness workshop on Tuesday, October 16 from 12-1 in A-143. This workshop is valuable for members that have student debt or parents that are helping pay student debt. This Workshop will connect you with resources to find debt-relief and flexible repayment options, including information about a little-known government program called “Public Service Loan Forgiveness” that could allow you to clear your student debt years sooner and at a significant discount. Come learn about your options. Thank you to members Jana Marquardt and Susie Rodriguez for pushing to get this workshop organized.
