GET INVOLVED—Our jobs and pensions depend on it!
As we have shared at recent membership meetings, public employees will be under further attack by ballot measures designed to threaten our pension system and take away our rights to participate in the political process. AFSCME has prepared a comprehensive workshop to provide us tools and techniques to educate ourselves and our members and to mobilize to confront these attacks.
Attached is a flyer for upcoming workshops “Confronting Corporate Deception & Threats To Your Job and Pension” to be taught by one of AFSCME International’s best trainers, Gerry Fidler. One of the workshops will be held here at the District on Thursday, April 26. Please seriously consider attending with other EA and Local 101 members.
